Located in our own backyard, start your day with a round of golf, a lesson taught by Steve (host of A Place On The Green ) and experience Fairwinds an 18 hole course designed by renowned architect Les Furber.   Fairwinds Golf has established itself as one of Vancouver Island’s finest courses.

Qualicum Beach & Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park

 Enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches in the Parksville/Qualicum areas, also known as “Canada’s Riviera.”   You will be amazed by the expansive, near perfect sand beaches that stretch for 19 kilometers.  Every August, Parksville is home to the “Annual Parksville Beach Festival which boasts one of the most incredible and sculpting masterpieces – the famous sand building competitions.

 Milner Gardens & Woodland has received national acclaim after being listed as one of the TOP 10 public gardens in Canada by The National Geographic Travel magazine.  This magnificant property of 70 acres of protected old growth forest and over 400 varieties of rhododendrons, fragrant honeysuckle and delicate lace-cape hydrangeas were also named one of "Oceanside's Seven Wonders in Sept 2007"  After you have toured the beautiful gardens you can stop in the old Milner home and have homemade wonderful scones with devon cream and jams made from the fruits of their trees.  This historical home and wonderful gardens is definitely worth a trip to while visiting A Place On The Green.

Jamie's Whaling Station Ucluelet British Columbia
